Airport Waitlisting
If the flight you wish to take is fully booked, you can apply for a seat on the waiting list.
Applications can be made from the day of departure up to 20 minutes before departure.
You can check the status of the airport waitlist online in real time.
Attention
※ Please make sure you have paid for your ticket in advance before applying.
※ Pass through the security checkpoint at least 20 minutes before departure of the flight for which you have applied for the standby status.
※ You cannot apply for a seat on the standby list for a flight that departs later than the flight for which you have already made a reservation.
※ Waitlisting times and locations are subject to change depending on flight operations.

STEP1. Apply for a seat on the online standby list.

Attention- ※ After completing the online standby request, you will be issued with a 'Standby Number'.
Please take a screenshot of your Waitlisting Number in advance, as it will be required for various enquiries and to confirm if a seat is available. - ※ If you have applied for a seat on the waiting list using a ticket other than the one you held up at the checkpoint at the departure airport, please inform the staff.
If you have booked a separate connecting itinerary and have applied for a standby for a connecting flight, for example. - ※ Passengers who wish to check-in their baggage will be allowed to do so after their flight has been confirmed.
If you have items that cannot be carried on board, please inform our staff before passing through security checkpoints.
Passengers with pets must pay the pet fee at the 'Baggage Counter' before passing through the departure security checkpoint. - The staff at the departure airport will provide you with further details.
Procedures for using the Standby Arrangement
STEP2. Notification when a seat is available.

From 20 minutes before departure, you will be notified by email and via digital signage.
Attention- ※ Waitlisting calls will be made at the gate area after passing through security checkpoints at all airports.
- ※ Passengers who have passed through security at least 20 minutes before departure of the flight for which they have applied for a seat on the waiting list are eligible to be offered a seat.
- ※ If you have an Open Ticket, which specifies only the flight segment and is purchased without a flight reservation, please touch your Open Ticket to the reader at the security checkpoint if you have applied for a seat on the waiting list on the day of departure.
STEP3. Online check-in

This starts 20 minutes before departure.
Please inform our staff if you wish to check in your baggage.
Attention- ※ If you have a ticket that does not allow online check-in, please inform us so that our staff can process your request.
- ■Cases where online check-in is not available
- ・When there is a difference in the fare.
- ・Passengers who have purchased "Special Passenger Fare" or "Stretcher Fare".
- ・Passengers with a group ticket.
- ・Passengers requiring assistance.
In addition to the above, there are other cases where online check-in is not available, depending on the circumstances of the procedure.
